The TRIUMPH interlocking anti-tilt mechanism prevents access of two or more pull-out accessories simultaneously, reducing the possibility of a unit toppling forward. It is positioned at the front of the unit and is easy to install. It must be used whenever two or more pull-out accessories (except MRS8/10/12 reference shelves) are fitted in a unit. The lowest accessory should be fitted as close to the base of the unit as possible. NOTE - it is not recommended to fit pull-out accessories above more than 50% of the unit's height, to a maximum of four vertical cradles in taller units and users should NEVER stand or lean on any pull-out accessory when it is extended.

Always ensure that:

  • Units are positioned on a level floor

  • Levelling feet are properly adjusted

  • Whenever possible, a unit is secured to a suitable wall or the back of an adjoining unit

  • Pull-out accessories are fitted according to the advice given above

  • Recommended evenly distributed load bearings are not exceeded*

  • Units are not configured or loaded in a way that will make them become unstable

Anti-tilt devices are featured in TRIUMPH Superglider, Trilogy and Everyday Filing Cabinets and Metrix Side Filers.

* MFD8/10/12  and MPCD8/10/12, 45kg. MRS8/10/12, 36kg.
